Volunteering

As a small local charity we rely on volunteers to help provide our children with the vital one-to-one support that they need.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our friendly team. Whether you can help out for a few hours at our Saturday School, or commit to one or two weeks for our holiday clubs, it is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn new skills, gain experience and meet new friends.

Volunteers help with individual and group activities for babies and children, creating a positive and playful learning environment, helping the children with their physical activities, and to eat and drink during breaks, as well as preparing and tidying the play room.

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in volunteering directly with the children, raising awareness of Whoopsadaisy or helping out with fundraising events – or even all three!

Please email or call Alex to find what current volunteering roles are available and to complete an application form.

Volunteering is subject to an enhanced DBS and two references.

Volunteers’ Week

We would like to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers who have dedicated their time to volunteering. They have all become important members of the Whoopsadaisy team and we couldn’t run Whoopsdaisy without them. To say thank you and remind them how grateful we are to have them we have personalised their t-shirt with their names. Once a thank you volunteers!
