Conductive Education

Conductive education is a learning process initially developed for children with cerebral palsy, at the Peto institute in Hungary.

The method is also effective for those living with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and head injuries.

Objectives of Conductive Education

Conductive education incorporates therapy and play in the daily routine and the child is an active participant.

Through repetition, a child can learn and develop physical, social and intellectual abilities to the best of their capabilities.

The overall aim of conductive education is to increase self awareness, self esteem and self confidence thus leading to a greater level of independence.
